Martina Costanzo, Aged Care Placement Specialist and Director of Golden Age Placements Pty Ltd has been a member of Business Referral Group, Melbourne Inner South East Chapter since May 2016.

I have spent many years working for aged care providers in the non-for-profit and for-profit sectors, stepping clients through the maze they have to navigate when placing a family member or friend into an aged care home. This has enabled me to develop an in-depth knowledge of the Aged Care Act and a profound understanding and appreciation of the consumers’ needs and perspectives. Over the years, I have also built extensive and respected relationships with other industry professionals and aligned aged care providers.

I established Golden Age Placements to smooth the journey into residential care for my clients. I provide independent information, assistance and clarity through a process which many people find stressful and complex. My service also includes appropriate recommendations to other entities such as aged care financial advisors, legal, relocation assistance and care at home if required.

My experience spans over 35 years in the healthcare industry, encompassing qualifications in registered nursing, intensive care and project management.

I have only attended three BRG meetings to date, two as a guest and one as a member. It’s too early yet to talk about mutual benefits between my company and the group. I am looking forward to  developing stronger relationships with individual members and contributng to the group as a whole.

I hope to learn much and be able to share reciprocal business referrrals, communications and updates within this BRG chapter. The members have been very suportive and welcoming which led to my decision to join them.
