Bernard Fehon CEO of Fehon Strategy and Design has been a member of Business Referral Group, Penrith Chapter for over 15 years.

When I first joined back in 2002, I entered the room and there was 10 – 20 local business people and I only knew 1 of them. I decided that a group called “Business Referral Group” was exactly what I was looking for so it seemed a sensible decision to become a member. In less than a year, I had covered the cost of the membership by securing some business with one of those new people that I had just met.

Now, nearly 20 years later, I look around the room and about half of the people in the room have done business with me during that time and I constantly see a new stream of new members. It’s always great to connect with new members and see how I can use their services and how I may be able to help them by providing service to them. It has been a real benefit to my business growth being a member of the Business Referral Group.

Over the entire time it has been great to have the support from members and also the personal contact with members as I have transitioned through various roles. Business Referral Group is all about give and take and it’s been great to assist other members during that time with their financial planning needs and other strategic advice. I have certainly been the beneficiary of some very wise advice from other members. I’ve learnt that those truly successful businesses long term, are those who actually care about their customers, care about people and care about the community that they work in and that has certainly been reinforced with my experience in the Business Referral Group.

I look forward to being able to help members and people that members refer to me by providing strategic advice and design collaborations. My mission is to help clients achieve their goals through developing great strategy and ensuring it is implemented well.
