Leanne McIntosh Owner of L&B Bookkeeping

Leanne McIntosh, Owner of L&B Bookkeeping has been member of Business Referral Group, St George Chapter since November 2015.

I am a registered BAS Agent and bookkeeper. I have been bookkeeping in my own business since 2012. I have been in the industry for 20 years. I have experience as a chartered accountant, company accountant and financial controller. I have a bachelor of business degree in accounting and I am a registered BAS agent.

After having a family I became a part time bookkeeper. In 2010 when the bookkeeping industry became regulated I saw an opportunity to become a Bas Agent.

In 2012 I started L&B bookkeeping. As part of the requirements I have professional indemnity insurance & am a member of a professional association. I am also a justice of the peace.

With this new legislation in place it gives a higher standard of work that a bookkeeper provides and it makes it easier for you to find a quality bookkeeper. BRG is giving me the experience to talk confidently about my business with other professionals in a relaxed environment. I am also learning about so many other businesses and how they operate in the business world.
