Mikhail Ushakoff, Owner of MKL Legal

Mikhail Ushakoff, Owner of MKL Legal has been member of BRG Balmain since 25 September 2023.

Mikhail began his legal careers in 2008 at Pigott Stinson Lawyers. Following this he was Legal Counsel at ClubsNSW for 7 years and he has also worked in private practice, in-house with a NSW government controlled entity and in the United Kingdom. Mikhail has now launched his own law firm MKL Legal which practises in workplace relations, commercial law, wills/estates, property law and general legal compliance services.

Balmain BRG has been an invaluable resource of like-minded business owners who provided guidance as MKL Legal was established. In addition to this, it has been a source of referrals and more importantly friendship with other business owners.

Balmain BRG has taught me the importance of in person visibility and networking as this is vital when setting up and/or growing a business. It’s important to make those connections in person and it makes a real difference.
