Louise Sykes, Owner and Founder of Visual Strategies have been a member of BRG Erina since 23rd May 2013.
I have been working in the branding and advertising industry since 1997. I founded Visual Strategies in 2006 after 10 years working for reputable Sydney based advertising agencies and blue-chip brands from a broad range of industries including: FMCG, Consumer Electronics, Health, Industrial & Manufacturing, B2B and more. The reason I started Visual Strategies was a sea-change while also enabling me to fulfill my vision of working on both the marketing and creative sides of the agency. I’m a qualified graphic designer with many Design and Account Directing years behind me. I bring the best of both worlds to clients: Sound understanding of marketing communications and solid strategy with creative flare, an eye for good design and the fine-art of directing a creative team. This unique combination plus my enjoyment of working in collaboration with businesses that want to grow and succeed – makes for a fulfilling career for me. I enjoy precious time with my family enjoying the sun & surf in a little spot of paradise just north of Sydney – the Central Coast!
BRG has provided many valuable referrals that have resulted in new business and aquisition of valued new clients, in addition to the valuable information shared and like-minded entrepreneur comradery.
Other members have benefited from my branding and marketing services via commissioned work (referrals) including branding, logo design, websites and social media strategies. Also useful marketing information and branding tips I provide when I present Visual Strategies presentations to the group. I like to provide tangible tips that they can go back to their office that day and apply in their business to help their businesses grow and succeed.
My most learning’s as a member have been about the local business market and network. What is going on at that moment within our community and how other industries are performing and effected by local and not-so local market activities.
